Detective Mr. Heshmati

Mr. Heshmati is an experienced detective nearing retirement and contemplating suicide. Carrying the heavy burden of emotional failure, his wife and daughter have long left him and live in the city of Amol. Detective Heshmati plans to visit his daughter one last time and then carry out his decision on the way back. He believes that a white Italian cotton overcoat brings him luck, so he borrows the coat from a wealthy neighbor and sets off for Amol. On his return, just as he intends to act on his decision, Detective Heshmati encounters unforeseen events and becomes involved in a mysterious and criminal case.
