Daughters of Naser al-Din Shah

This book is a biography of the daughters of Naser al-Din Shah. Some of them died in infancy and childhood, but those who lived and those the author was able to access information about numbered sixteen. One individual mentioned in the book was seen as a foreign woman during her adolescence, but the author could not find details about her. These sixteen princesses are introduced in the order of their birth dates, and as much as possible, their lives and documents were examined. Those who matured during Naser al-Din Shah’s lifetime led some legendary lives, such as Esmat od-Dowleh, while those who grew up after his assassination often lived in poverty and hardship.
