Story of Knowing Iran is a series consisting of four titles, published by Negah Publications under the effort of Javad Es’haqian. This series critically reviews the works of Mohammad Ali Jamalzadeh, Jalal Al-e Ahmad, Simin Daneshvar, and Ahmad Mahmoud, aiming to foster a constructive critique grounded in scientific principles of literary criticism. Javad Es’haqian, with impartiality and without being influenced by any biases, employs recognized views of literary criticism to analyze the works of Jamalzadeh, Al-e Ahmad, Daneshvar, and Mahmoud. Using the method of new criticism and taking advantage of insights from prominent global critics, he provides an in-depth analysis of the authors’ works. It is hoped that the publication of this series will pave the way and act as a guide for enthusiasts of constructive critique, encouraging the future publication of works by other authors aiming to enhance literary discourse both in Iran and internationally. As the author of this book, Javad Es’haqian has been active in literary criticism over the past 30 years, establishing himself as one of the few impartial critics in Iran who adhere to credible methods of literary critique.
