Amir Hamza, the Conqueror

Amir Hamza, the Conqueror is a liberal interpretation of the book ‘Ramuz-e-Hamza,’ whose title in various lithographic prints was mentioned as ‘The Sweet Book of Global Hero Khosrow, Amir Hamza the Conqueror, and Amr Ameer the Trickster.’ The book contains twenty-four stories detailing the heroics of Amir Hamza the Conqueror. The tales of Amir Hamza are very popular among Arabs, Turks, and especially in the Indian subcontinent. Emperor Akbar of the Mughal dynasty had a great passion for this story and commissioned Iranian artists to pen it in beautiful calligraphy adorned with intricate designs and illuminations.
