Always Facing the Street

A journey that took place in the summer of 2014, when I was twenty-five, lasting about a month during which I volunteered to teach English to children and alongside, got to know Morocco a little more than an ordinary tourist. This approximately one month living in Morocco turned into a precious journey full of direct observation of this red-blue country. From walking in the markets of Marrakech to the blue village of Chefchaouen, from the splendid Tangier to the enchanting Casablanca, and from ancient Fes to Rabat, the modern capital of Morocco. All those days and nights became an unparalleled experience. Now, after eight years, the writings and photos have been compiled in this book with minimal changes and a difficult effort to stay faithful to the text of that twenty-five-year-old youth.
