Reza Kazemi

Reza Kazemi is a poet, writer, and artist whose work blossomed from a foundation in civil engineering and interior design. Beginning his literary journey in the mid-1990s, he first gained recognition with a poignant collection of war-inspired romantic literature. Over the years, Kazemi has dedicated himself to the craft of short free verse poetry, especially focusing on brief, evocative love poems. Alongside poetry, he cultivates a passion for short fiction, contributing as an editor and international correspondent for a bilingual Persian-German literary platform. His evocative verses have transcended language barriers, being translated into numerous languages, while his life and art inspired the documentary “I Still Smell the Scent of Love.” Beyond the written word, Kazemi’s creativity extends to painting, calligraphy, and caricature, marking him as a multidisciplinary artist with a deeply reflective voice.
