Parvaneh Zagh Ziyan

Parvaneh Zagh Ziyan is a writer who perhaps never imagined her novel would be published in Iran. After nearly 25 years of writing, gaining recognition among literary circles, and publishing short stories in magazines and newspapers of Qazvin and Tehran, she seemed close to giving up on releasing her novels. Yet, her debut novel, “The Brooch,” was published by Amut Publishing and quickly became one of the top-selling books of the month.
