Masoud Aliya

Masoud Aliya is an Iranian translator and researcher specializing in philosophy, currently serving as an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy of Art at the University of Art. His translation of “The Phenomenology Movement” earned the Book of the Year award. With a background in Persian language and literature and advanced studies in philosophy, his scholarly work delves into the complexities of Gabriel Marcel’s philosophy, exploring themes such as the scope of mystery, its reduction to problem, the originality of experience, and transformation within metaphysical sources. His doctoral research focused on the conditions for the possibility of ethics in the thought of Emmanuel Levinas.
