Maryam Kouzehgaran

Dr. Maryam Kouzehgaran is an Iranian psychiatrist and writer whose career bridges both clinical practice and academia. After completing her medical degree and specializing in psychiatry at the University of Tehran, she joined the faculty at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences as an assistant professor. Following years of dedicated teaching and clinical work, she pursued advanced training in psychotherapy at the University of Toronto. Today, she continues her professional journey in Canada, contributing as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist at the University of Alberta and its affiliated hospital.
