Godarz Shokri

Godarz Shokri was born in the neighborhood known today as Kouy Jalali in Hamadan. His passion for storytelling was ignited during a composition class where his eloquent writing about spring impressed his teacher, revealing his literary talent. Although he later left formal education to work in Tehran, his experiences working for an immigrant Russian, an Armenian employer, and in a printing house exposed him to the works of many great writers through typesetting, deepening his appreciation for literature.
