Farzin Fakhriyassari

Farzin Fakhriyassari is a poet, writer, and self-taught painter whose roots trace back to Deylaman, though he was born in Langarud. From a young age, he embraced poetry and storytelling, later cultivating a passion for painting. In recent years, his artwork has taken on a distinctive character, reflecting the nuances of everyday life. His creative journey has produced a body of work showcased in exhibitions across various cities. Alongside painting, he has remained an active literary voice, with his first collection of poems published in 1979, titled ‘Hot Winter.’ His literary repertoire spans poetry, short stories, and novels, including titles such as ‘Lullabies,’ ‘The Open Eyes of the Dead Dog,’ ‘Children of the Park,’ ‘The Human Jungle on the Other Side,’ ‘A Smile Is My Guest,’ ‘Elmira’s Solitude,’ ‘How Far With You…!,’ ‘Harash,’ and ‘Write, Mirza.’ Through his dual talents in writing and painting, Fakhriyassari offers a rich, textured exploration of human experience.
