Babak Amir Khosravi

Babak Amir Khosravi was born in Tabriz into a relatively affluent family, benefiting throughout his youth from excellent education in both Tabriz and Tehran as well as musical training under the esteemed Iranian master Abolhossein Saba. His grandfather, Mirza Ali Qajar, was a prominent landowner in Tabriz, and his father, inspired by the progressive ideas of his uncle Mosaddaqolmolk Jahanshahi, actively participated in the Constitutional Movement of Tabriz. At the age of fourteen, following the occupation of Tabriz by the Red Army, Babak and his family relocated to Tehran. By eighteen, he had joined the Tudeh Party, embarking on a life marked by intense challenges and profound transformations.
