Arezoo Sabzevar Ghafarkhi

Arezoo Sabzevar Ghafarkhi, originally from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, began composing ghazals in her hometown of Farkhshahr back in 2009. A graduate student of Persian language and literature at Allameh Tabataba’i University, she approaches poetry as a deeply intricate and personal craft. Although she has never attended formal poetry or songwriting workshops, Arezoo believes that engaging in focused poetry critique sessions can profoundly enrich a poet’s worldview and creative voice. She emphasizes that cultivating a distinct poetic language stems from a careful and nuanced observation of the world around her. Her poetry, shaped by this introspective lens, has received recognition in numerous national and international festivals.
