Amirhossein Afrasiabi

Amirhossein Afrasiabi is a poet whose voice emerged prominently during the vibrant literary movement known as the ‘Literary War’ in Isfahan during the 1940s and 50s. His early work, including his debut collection ‘Autumn Words,’ set the tone for a poetic journey marked by introspection and lyrical depth. Over the years, his poetry collections, such as ‘Station,’ ‘Across the Road,’ ‘To the Next Station,’ ‘The Song of a Wonderful Maybe,’ ‘Love Knows No Time,’ and ‘And the House That Is Not Our Home,’ showcase his evolving exploration of human emotion and existence. Now residing in the Netherlands, Afrasiabi has also embraced writing in Dutch, bridging cultures through his poetic expression.
