Ali Rahnema

Ali Rahnema is a professor of economics and the director of the Master’s program in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at the American University of Paris. The son of Hamid Rahnema and grandson of Zain al-Abedin Rahnema, he is the author of significant works including “Muslims in Search of an Illusive Utopia,” “Religious Forces Amidst the National Movement,” and “Superstition as Ideology in Iranian Politics from the Majlis to Ahmadinejad.”
