Ali Rabiei

Ali Rabiei is a reformist politician and former Minister of Labor, Cooperatives, and Social Welfare in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Born in southern Tehran, he worked as a technician in factories like Arj before the revolution. After the Islamic Revolution, he took on leadership roles in the workers’ branch of the Islamic Republican Party until 1981. Rabiei also served as a commander in the Revolutionary Guards and has been a founding member and part of the central council of the House of Workers since the beginning of the revolution.
