Ali Bahafrooz

Ali Bahafrooz’s early life was shaped by hardship and resilience, growing up in a deeply impoverished and conservative family in Qom. Despite delayed schooling and numerous jobs ranging from tailoring assistant to teaching, he pursued education with determination, eventually excelling in mathematics. After earning advanced degrees and teaching in Iran, he moved to the United States where he transitioned from mathematics to computer science, building a long academic career. In later years, he returned to writing in Persian, chronicling a life marked by persistence and intellectual rigor through numerous published works.
