Golden Thoughts of Khaqani

Khaqani was one of the greatest qasida poets of Persian poetry. He is regarded as the divine creator of unique and astonishing poetic forms in the history of Persian literature. During his travels to Iraq, Rey, and Mecca, he composed famous qasidas. His mystical poems reflect the influence of his middle years, a period marked by a preference for seclusion.
