How to Become a Painter?

The effort to publish the book “How to Become an Actor?” was made by the Visual Arts Unit and the Office of Literary Creations of the Art Center. Before that, it was Mahdinejad who put in great effort, teaching his audience in two chapters how to become an actor and how to remain an actor. The audience of the first chapter are young students who want to become actors, and the second chapter’s audience are actors who, despite CDs, Bluetooth, parties, cultural guidance, police, rivals, and so on, want to continue being actors. A significant part of the book’s mission rests on the illustrations drawn by Mohsen Izadi, which are based on the characters described in each section. The author’s narrative style is humorous, using satire to critique the social and personal behaviors of individuals who want to become actors at any cost. How to become and remain an actor without any talent or training, relying only on beauty, style, and creating controversies, is the main issue approached with humor. Although Mahdinejad has presented his book humorously, his recommendations are so practical that they can effectively contribute to the training of actors and performers. For example, he discusses the role of “ro” which could seriously be equivalent to self-confidence.
