The book at hand examines the process of composing religious and Alavi epics before and after the creation of the Heidari Attack. It discusses the poetic collections known by this name. It then introduces the four main and prominent poets of the Heidari Attack, providing information about their lives, works, epic poems about Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and textual criticism. Afterwards, it presents samples of their works related in some way to battles or wars. This work clarifies new points about the Heidari Attack and its poets, correcting some mistakes and misunderstandings by literary scholars.
